Cottage Ware
When serving guests for dinner do you?
bring out your finest china or use your everyday stuff? Should use my fine chinet paper plates to make a nice impression or just use the dishwasher safe collections of cottage cheese, Cool Whip and other plastic table wares ? Also, would it be more impressionable to use the clear plastic knives , forks and spoons or are the ones I’ve brought home from Wendy’s McDonalds and Burger King acceptable?
Well, to be precise, I don’t serve my guests anything. I have Anthony do that. He does have a strict rule of what serving utensils are to be used of course. For the neighbors, a simple paper plate with a set of plastic forks and spoons are all that is needed. In fact, I have encouraged him to lay put only one “spork” for each person. While the ketchup packages from McDonald’s are well received and appreciated by the “guests” I have found that simply pouring a full bowl of meat and meat by-products is quite sufficient to satisfy their culinary requirements.
