What’s a good Birthday Present to ask from a dad?

My friend asked me what he should get for a birthday present from his dad. He wants something that he can use. His dad says it can be anything except a car and a house. Or anything like that.

Tickets to a ball game, a computer (if he doesn’t already have one). Personally, I would ask for time with my dad, go somewhere together, do something together, just spend time with each other. As we all get older, it goes too fast.
